CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC PARTICIPANTS
RAISED $74,000
The 4th Annual EBOD Golf Classic was a tremendous event!
This annual charity events doesn't happen without the support of the EBOD Foundation members, but we need to acknowledge the early support of the AIG Private Client Group as we would not have gone ahead with the event without that financial commitment. That support gave us the confidence that we could pull this off.
In addition, our committee spent many hours planning and executing the event. Thanks to: Kevin Conrad, David Maury, Sean Ryan, Tony and Carolyn Corbett, Steve Kuemmerle, Andrew Mason, Jeanie Ulicny, Gary Fritz, Randy Hubschmidt, Padraig Harris, Paul Corbett, Matt Maloney and especially to my wife, Lynn, who became our official photographer this year. She took hundreds of fabulous photos.
We had more volunteers this year than ever before, which allowed for the best event we’ve ever hosted. Thank you to: Kathy Scannell, Anthony Corbett, Carolyn Corbett, Stacey Beck, Myranda Armstrong, Allie Milligan, Nicole Maury, Tom Kenney, Tristian Newman, Diane Crosley, Margaret Brenner, Bobby Giosa, and special thanks to Kristen Struys for her outstanding work on the auction!
Our goals are big, but these diseases aren’t giving up and our partner organizations and local families need us more than ever! Our largest sponsors were my longest standing relationships in the insurance industry, so special thanks to AIG, Pure, Chubb, Vault and RT Specialty. I’d also like to thank Aon for supporting our efforts and giving me the flexibility to host this very special day. And finally, we are grateful to our two other premium sponsors, Con McCarthy of CMC Investment Management for the awesome Bloody Mary’s, and Al Ferraro of D’ Lauro and Rodgers for all the delicious food.
Fundraising requires us to share our mission with others and speak passionately about what we do with our funds. The golf outing focuses on brain research and assistance to families dealing with the devastating effects of these diseases. This year we added the McKeown Foundation’s new respite care facility, which received a $10,000 grant and the Lou Ruvo Institute for Brain Health will receive $55,000!
We greatly appreciate all of our sponsors, donors, auction item donors and dinner guests, and we hope you’ll join us September, 2021.
Regards,
Joe Clark
